Boys Town Candy Cane Run is almost here. If you register by 12/3 you can do so for the rate of $25.00. Come out and support a great charity that makes Oviedo such a great place to live.
Of course during this time of year, we give special thought, as we should, to those in need. Let us not overlook our four-legged friends. They too have need during the holiday season and that is why we are proud to make a donation to Chet Tokar at Edward Jones and their support of Pet Rescue by Judy. They are a collection point and there will also be an open house on December 8th at 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at 30 Alexandria Blvd. Suite 1000, Oviedo, FL 32765.
The following items are useful:
Here is a photo of our donation this year.
Pet adoption opportunities will be available at the event. Prices vary depending on pet.
We hope you will join us in making this a special holiday season for deserving animals, as well as deserving people.
For some time now I have had the pleasure to consider Geoffrey DelBene of Edward Jones Financial Advisers, both a friend and a colleague. One of the reason I consider Geoff a friend is his desire to help others; not only through his work as a financial adviser but also through his annual partnership with Toys for Tots. This year his office located at 1757 West Broadway Street, Suite 4, Oviedo, FL 32765 will be a Toys for Tots collection point. Here is a link to their website: https://www.edwardjones.com/financial-advisor/rsvp-event.html?eventId=41587
You may drop off a new, unwrapped toy at that location and while you are in the neighborhood, feel fee to come into my office to say “hello”. Even after 25 years living in the Oviedo area, I have not yet met all of the amazing people there are to meet.
Below is a photograph of the firm’s donation.
May the yule tide spirit and the force be with you.
One of the privileges of being a lawyer is to assist those that truly need you. Whether that be by offering a kind word through the use of a lawyer’s knowledge and skills or in this case, the firm’s sponsorship of the Boys Town Candy Cane Run. The Firm is proud to be the race packet pick-up location on Wednesday, December 7th 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 8th 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Friday, December 9th 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM with the run being Saturday, December 10th. We will also be sponsoring a table on race day; come by and say “hello”.
You can register through the following link: www.boystown.org/candycane
The price for the run will be:
- $25 to enter by 12/3
- $30 from 12/4-12/9
- $35 day of race (cash/check)
Let’s all come out and kick off the holiday season by doing something that personifies the true meaning and purpose of the holiday season and assist someone that needs you.
Just adding a quick note to our blog to say how sincerely gratified I am to have received the award for best local law firm/attorney in the city of Oviedo. It means so much to be honored in the place where I have spent so many of the best years of my life. Thank you for giving me the pleasure of serving the community and I look forward to continuing to do so.
There are in this world many things to be greatful for. Whether it be just family and friends or being to help those clients that come here in need of legal services. The holiday season is a time when those of us fortunate, should give as much as we can. As a result, The Law Offices of Timothy A. Moran, LLC is joining in with HOPE Helps of Oviedo to collect food for those in need. HOPE’s needs are such that they distribute to roughly 800 people a week and give out roughly 3500 pounds of food per week. We will be accepting food at the law office for HOPE until January 1, 2013.
Their needs are:
- Breakfast items (cereal, grits, oatmeal, etc.)
- Protein (canned meats such as chicken, corned beef hash, small canned hams, canned beef stew)
- Beans (black, baked, pinto, etc.)
- Assorted canned veggies (carrots, potatoes, spinch, beets, corn, greens, etc.)
- Canned tomatoes, including sauces
- Ready to eat soups (chunky, Progresso)
- Boxed rice
- Boxed potato mixes
- Canned pasta
- Dry Pasta
- Boxed milk (preferably almond or rice)
- Juices ( pint or quart)
- Complete baking mixes (pancakes, muffins, biscuits)
- Peanut butter
We would ask that those who have supported us through the year, now support those who are in greatest need.
Greetings and it is a pleasure to get to know you all. I have had the pleasure of owning and being the sole practitioner of the The Law Office of Timothy A. Moran, LLC for just over two years now. In that time, I have been lucky enough to assist people with their legal needs in both Seminole and Orange counties and throughout the state of Florida. I got my start as they say, volunteering with a local legal aide agency, Community Legal Service of Mid-Florida, Inc. There I was fortunate able to enough to assist clients Pro Bono with Foreclosure defense. I was deeply honored that as a result of that work I received the Young Lawyers Pro Bono Award in 2012. It was truly one of the most proud moments of my life. Here are some articles pertaining there to. So, if you wish, share some of it with me. Sadly this is my first blog post, but hope to make this a more common experience. If you any of you need to speak with me, please contact me at the number above. You will either speak directly to me or my legal assistant, Regina.
